Petition request

That the House of Representatives urge the Prime Minister to designate the whole of the Hamas organisation (both political and military wings) as a terrorist organisation, demand that Hamas immediately release all hostages, increase support for agencies working to locate and free the hostages, and speak out against what I believe are unprecedented levels of anti-semitism in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Petition reason

The Hamas attack of 7 October 2023 against the State of Israel, which I believe was unprovoked, saw the murder of more than 1200 people, the firing of thousands of rockets into civilian areas and the taking of more than 230 hostages. The attack was the worst loss of Jewish life since the Holocaust. The perpetrators may have changed but I believe the agenda remains the same.
